Tyson felt nauseous and dizzy due to a recurrence of a stomach ulcer about 30 minutes before landing and immediately received treatment from paramedics. Initial reports that Tyson's medical condition caused the flight delay were denied by his representatives. They explained that the two-hour delay was caused by an air conditioning problem on the plane.
Tyson is currently preparing for a match against Jake Paul, a vlogger turned boxer, which is scheduled to air on Netflix on July 20. During preparation, Tyson had quit smoking and abstained from sexual activity for two and a half weeks.
Despite experiencing a medical incident, Tyson remained focused on preparing for the match. The arrival of paramedics on the plane did not affect previous flight delays caused by technical problems. Tyson's condition is currently stable and he continues to train for his upcoming fight.
