This murder sets off an investigation involving Mae’s former teacher, Jedi Master Sol, and several other Jedi, who pursue Mae to uncover the truth. The second episode, "Revenge / Justice," follows Mae’s attempt to kill Jedi Master Torbin, revealing her complex motivations and the involvement of her twin sister, Osha, also a Jedi. As the plot unfolds, tensions rise between Mae and Osha, leading to a high-stakes game of cat and mouse with the remaining Jedi.

Critics have generally responded positively to the first two episodes, highlighting the stunning visuals, impressive fight scenes, and rich world-building that introduces new mythology and intriguing characters.
